History of the department
The Department of Agriculture was established in 2024. The B.Sc. Agriculture program is committed to shaping future agricultural professionals with a strong scientific foundation, practical expertise, and an innovative mind-set. The program envisions nurturing individuals who can contribute to global food security, sustainable farming practices, and rural development by integrating traditional agricultural wisdom with modern technological advancements.

- Crop Science & Agronomy – Understanding plant growth, soil health, irrigation methods, and sustainable crop production.
- Soil Science & Nutrient Management – Learning about soil fertility, organic farming techniques, and soil conservation methods.
- Horticulture & Plantation Crops – Specializing in fruit and vegetable cultivation, greenhouse management, and landscape design.
- Animal Husbandry & Dairy Science – Integrating livestock management with sustainable agricultural practices for enhanced productivity.
